John and I retired to Table Rock Lake in 2020 after selling our successful jewelry store. We owned and operated Jewelry by Designs, in Woodbridge, VA, for 30 years. Our store was accepted into the American Gem Society and John was accredited as an AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser and a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
After 3 years of retirement, we have come to miss being of service to people searching for a qualified appraiser. I noticed on community Facebook pages that there no longer seemed to be a jewelry appraiser in the Branson area.
We have arranged to set up an appraisal lab at Table Rock Sunset Properties in Branson West. Realtors Kathy and Gary Clark are very well known and respected in our community so we are pleased to operate from their building since this gives us a secure and easy to find location to meet with clients.
Our services will include appraising all types of jewelry for insurance or estate purposes. We will also buy any broken, worn out or unwanted precious metal jewelry. Sometimes selling this jewelry can more than cover the cost of the appraisal.
